Celebration kicks off in Nilgiris: Ooty Flower Show displays 10 lakh flowers

Ooty's flower show heralds the delightful onset of summer festivities in Nilgiris. The 126th flower show, which commenced on Friday at the Botanical Garden, promises a colourful extravaganza.

Visitors can indulge in numerous attractions, including flower gardens, toy train rides, exhibitions, and delectable Ooty cuisine. Children can delight in the enchanting 'Disney World Fairy Castle', specially crafted to captivate them, adorned with an array of flowers, notably roses.

For the next ten days, Ooty and Nilgiris will be ablaze with celebratory fervour.

The Ooty Botanical Garden boasts an impressive display of approximately one million flowers, featuring 270 varieties such as Inca Marigold, Dahlia, Daisy, Zinnia, Salvia, Ageratum, Daisy White, Delphinium, and various Anthurium plants. Visitors can also explore the glasshouse and an Italian garden.
