Renowned poet Akkitham Achuthan Namboothiri hospitalised

Thrissur: Renowned Malayalam poet Akkitham Achuthan Namboothiri has been hospitalised.

He was in discomfort after suffering a blockage in the urinary tract. He has been shifted to High Tech Hospital in Thrissur.

Akkitham remains in the Intensive Care Unit as there are concerns regarding his health, the poet’s son Narayanan Akkitham told mathrubhumi.com
