UPTET 2026: Answer key likely this week, know how to download PDF
The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) is expected to release the provisional answer key for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026 soon.
Once released, candidates who appeared for the examination will be able to download the answer key along with the Paper 1 and Paper 2 question papers from the official website, upessc.up.gov.in.
Although the commission has not announced an official release date, media reports suggest that the UPTET 2026 answer key is likely to be published between July 10 and July 15.
After the provisional answer key is released, candidates will also be allowed to raise objections against any answer they believe is incorrect through the online objection window.
The answer key will help candidates estimate their probable scores ahead of the declaration of the final results.
How to download UPTET 2026 answer key
- Step 1: Visit the official UPESSC website at upessc.up.gov.in.
- Step 2: On the homepage, click on the 'UPTET Answer Key 2026' link.
- Step 3: The UPTET 2026 Answer Key PDF for Paper 1 and Paper 2 will appear on the screen.
- Step 4: Download the PDF and save a copy for future reference.
The UPTET 2026 examination was conducted on July 2, 3 and 4 across 955 examination centres in 60 districts of Uttar Pradesh in two shifts each day. Nearly 1.77 million candidates appeared for the eligibility test, which determines eligibility for teaching positions at the primary (Classes 1 to 5) and upper primary (Classes 6 to 8) levels in government schools across the state.
