The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has extended the last date to apply for the Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2025 and the Indian Forest Service (Preliminary) Examination 2025 to February 21 (6 PM). This marks the second extension, as the deadline was previously moved from February 11 to February 18.

Where can candidates apply?
Aspirants must submit their applications online via upsconline.gov.in before the revised deadline. No offline applications will be accepted.

When will the correction window be open?
UPSC has also announced a correction window for applicants, which will remain open from February 22 to February 28. Candidates will be able to make necessary modifications to their submitted applications during this period.

What is the selection process?
The UPSC Civil Services Examination is conducted in three stages — Preliminary, Mains, and Interview — to recruit officers for elite services such as the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and Indian Police Service (IPS).

Aspiring candidates are advised to adhere to the new deadlines and complete the application process within the stipulated time.
