Telangana Inter Exams 2026 to begin in February; Check full schedule here
The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has released the official timetable for the Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) 2026 for both first- and second-year students.
According to the schedule, the exams will begin in the last week of February and end by mid-March 2026.

Students are encouraged to check the dates and prepare their final revision plans accordingly.
First-year exams to begin on February 25
The Intermediate first-year exams will be conducted from February 25 to March 17, 2026.
All exams will take place in a single session, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Second-year exams from February 26
The second-year Intermediate exams are scheduled from February 26 to March 18, 2026, also in the 9:00 am to 12:00 pm time slot.

The board has announced that if any of the JEE Main 2026 exam dates overlap with the Telangana Intermediate examinations for Classes 11 and 12, affected students will be permitted to appear for the Intermediate exams on alternative dates.
Practical exams in February
The Intermediate practical examinations for both General and Vocational streams will be held from February 2 to February 21, 2026, in two daily sessions:
- Morning: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
- Afternoon: 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Students are required to arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time and must carry their hall tickets and laboratory records to the examination venue.
English practical exam dates
- First year: January 21, 2026 (Wednesday)
- Second year: January 22, 2026 (Thursday)
Candidates should confirm their specific college schedules for reporting times and batch allocations. The board will also provide alternative practical exam slots if these dates clash with JEE Main 2026.
Admit cards and hall tickets
The TS Inter 2026 hall tickets will be made available about two weeks before the start of the examinations.
Students can download their admit cards from tgbie.cgg.gov.in using their hall ticket number.
It is mandatory for students to carry a printed copy of the hall ticket to the examination centre on all exam days.
