PTET exam tomorrow at 13 centres in Jhalawar: When to arrive, what to carry

Jhalawar: The Pre-Teacher Education Test (PTET) conducted by Vardhman Mahaveer Open University will be held on June 15, 2025, across 13 examination centres in Jhalawar district, officials said.

District Nodal Officer and Additional District Collector Satyanarayan Ametha stated that to ensure the smooth and fair conduct of the examination, two vigilance teams have been constituted. In addition, each centre will have a dedicated Centre Superintendent, Additional Superintendent, Flying Squad and Inspection Team.

According to District Coordinator and Principal of Government PG College, Dr. Phool Singh Gurjar, candidates are required to arrive at the exam centre 1.5 hours before the scheduled time. The entry gates will be closed 30 minutes before the examination begins. No candidate will be allowed entry after that time.

Authorities have issued strict guidelines for the candidates:

  • Carrying original identity proof such as Aadhar card or driving license is mandatory along with the admit card. Entry will be denied without valid documents.
  • Electronic devices, including mobile phones and smartwatches, are prohibited.
  • Female candidates have been advised not to wear metal jewellery to avoid delays during security checks.

District Education Officer Hemraj Pareta urged candidates to follow all rules and cooperate with officials for a smooth process.

Superintendent of Police Richa Tomar confirmed that police forces will be deployed at all exam centres to support the security teams and help with candidate verification at the main entry points.
