NATA 2026 to be held from April to June; check registration details

Council of Architecture (CoA), Ministry of Education, Government of India, has announced the details of the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) 2026.

The Council of Architecture shall conduct NATA 2026 from April 4 to June 13, 2026, on all Fridays and Saturdays, at CoA-approved Test Centres across the country for admission to the First Year of the 5-Year B.Arch. Degree Programme.

NATA Tests held during this period shall be considered by various admission authorities for seat allotment through the Centralised Admission Counselling process.

Candidates may appear in a maximum of two attempts during this phase. An additional NATA 2026 examination shall be conducted on August 7 and 8, 2026, exclusively for candidates who did not appear in the earlier phase. Such candidates shall be permitted one attempt only and shall be considered for admission against vacant seats remaining after completion of the Centralised Admission Counselling process.

Eligibility: Applicant should have passed or should be appearing in 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and one approved subject as compulsory subjects, or in 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics, securing at least 45% aggregate marks in each case.

NATA 2026 score shall be valid for the academic session 2026-2027 only.

The NATA 2026 brochure containing eligibility criteria, syllabus and other important details, along with a list of CoA-approved institutions imparting B.Arch. The program in the country shall be made available at www.nata.in and www.coa.gov.in.

Registration for NATA 2026 will commence shortly at www.nata.in.
