MCC UG counselling round 2 schedule to be revised

Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of DGHS is in the process of adding newly accredited seats sent by National Medical Commission, in the seat matrix of Round- 2 of UG Counselling 2025.

In addition, the scrutiny of NRI documents is in progress. Hence, MCC has decided to extend the schedule of Round-2 of UG Counselling 2025. The Revised Schedule of Round-2 of UG Counselling 2025 will be uploaded shortly on the MCC website.

As per the existing schedule, the choice filling and locking were to end at 11:55 pm on 9 th September 2025.

Meanwhile MCC has notified the addition of the following seats to UG NEET Counseling for Round 2.

• ESIC Medical College, Hyderabad- Employees State Insurance Scheme(ESI): UR-03, OBC-02, EWS-01, SC-02, ST-01
• Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College, Belagavi - Deemed/Paid Seats Quota – 158; Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College, Belagavi - Non Resident Indian -30.

Candidates can now exercise choice for these seats also.

Earlier MCC had notified the addition of 1134 seats for Round 2 allotment. There are 13501 vacant seats for the 3 courses included in the allotment process after round 1 admissions were completed. These seats will be filled in Round 2.

MCC has also reported 7088 virtual vacancies that may arise on account of changes due to upgradation option given by the joined candidates of Round 1.
