Kerala opens option registration for second stray vacancy allotment to PG ayurveda courses

The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram, has enabled the facility for option registration for the second round of stray vacancy allotment for admission to PG Ayurveda Degree courses in Kerala, 2025.

In this round, a fresh option registration facility is available to the candidates. Candidates shall register options to any seats they wish to join if allotted, irrespective of the vacancy status, as any vacancy that may arise during the counseling will also be filled based on these options. As applicable category conversions of seats will take place in the stray vacancy allotment, while registering options for the stray vacancy allotment candidates should take into account those probable vacancies too that may arise due to the applicable category conversions. The options registered in the previous rounds will not be considered for second round stray vacancy round allotment. Candidates have to register option afresh if they wish to participate in the stray vacancy round allotment. The options registered in this stray vacancy allotment will not be considered for further Stray vacancy seat filling.

Options have to be registered through the Online Option Registration facility accessible after logging on to the Candidate portal at www.cee.kerala.gov.in, by giving the Application Number & Password through the link “PG Ayurveda- 2025 Candidate Portal”. Then by clicking the Menu ‘Option Registration’, candidates can register their options online within the stipulated time.

Registration Fees: Those candidates who have not registered in Round I/ Round 2/ Round 3/ SVR1 have to pay registration fee of Rs. 2,000/- at the time of Option Registration. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OEC category eligible for benefits as per G.O(Ms)No.25/2005/SCSTDD dated:20.06.2005 and G.O (Ms)No.10/20104/BCDD dated:23.05.2014 and those candidates from Juvenile Home, Nirbhaya Home, Sreechitra Home will have to remit Rs. 1,000/- as option registration fee. Registration fee can be remitted by way of online payment. Candidates who have already been allotted a seat in Round 1 or Round 2 phases, who obtained a Transfer Certificate (TC) from the concerned college before 2 pm on 10.11.2025, and who were not allotted a seat in the Round 3/SVR1 allotments are exempted from the payment of registration fees.

The registration fee of those candidates who do not get allotment will be refunded. Refund of option registration fee for the eligible candidates will be made only after the completion of allotment process and it will be notified. If a candidate gets allotment and does not join within the stipulated time, the option registration fee will be considered as penalty and will not be refunded. Option registration fee of the candidates who quit the seats after taking admission will be considered as penalty and will not be refunded.

Facility for Online registration of options ends at 11 am on 15.12.2025. Provisional Allotment will be published on 15.12.2025 and final Allotment on 16.12.2025. Allotment shall be based on the revised rank list and category list published for the second round stray vacancy allotment process.

Those getting allotment should join the allotted colleges during 17.12.2025 and 3 pm on 19.12.2025. If any candidate does not join seat allotted in stray vacancy round, he/she may exit with forfeiture of registration fee and cannot participate in further rounds of allotment.

Those (i) who have already admitted (ii) who have got allotment in third round/ SVR1 allotment (iii) who vacated the seat after 2 pm on 10.11.2025 (iv) who are blocked from further participation in state quota allotments on account of being admitted in AIQ seat (v) allotted a seat in the third round and stray vacancy rounds of the All India Counseling etc; will not be eligible for the stray vacancy round allotment or further round allotments.

If a candidate freshly registers in stray vacancy round and is not allotted any seat, he/she is eligible to participate in further stray vacancy round, if any. Candidates getting allotment in stray vacancy round shall not have any claim on earlier rounds allotted seat.

Any candidate who is allotted a seat in this phase or any subsequent Stray Vacancy Filling Allotments, irrespective of whether he/she joins or not joins the allotted seat, will not be further considered in the subsequent allotments.
