Kerala B Pharm lateral entry 2025 entrance exam: Apply online before November 15

The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala, has invited applications for the Entrance Examination for admission to the B.Pharm course, through lateral entry, for the year 2025 in the government and private self-financing pharmacy colleges in the state of Kerala.

The Lateral Entry Scheme is intended to admit meritorious diploma holders in pharmacy to the third semester of the B. Pharm course to enable them to obtain a degree in pharmacy.

The list of various pharmacy institutions included for lateral entry to the B.Pharm course 2025 admission will be published later at www.cee.kerala.gov.in prior to the commencement of Centralised Allotment Process for B.Pharm Lateral Entry 2025.

Eligibility

The Applicant should be (i) an Indian citizen of Kerala origin; (ii) should have studied Diploma in Pharmacy (Under Education Regulations 2020 of the Pharmacy Council of India) in an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India and passed the Diploma in Pharmacy examination conducted by the Kerala State Board of D. Pharm Examinations or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in the final year examinations; and (iii) should have obtained registration with the State Pharmacy Council (Registration Certificate is to be produced at the time of Counseling) or should have applied for registration with State Pharmacy Council (Proof to be produced at the time of counseling).

There is no upper age limit for admission to the course.

Entrance Examination

Selection of candidates for B.Pharm (Lateral entry) course 2025 will be made on the basis of a Computer Based Test to be conducted on 23.11.2025 by the CEE at various centers in Kerala. It will consist of one Paper of one and half hours (90 minutes) duration and will have 120 Questions. The competitive examination shall be of the standard of D Pharm Course (As per Education Regulations 2020 of Pharmacy Council of India) covering all the twelve subjects of the course and will have 10 questions per subject. Each correct response will be awarded 4 marks. One Mark will be deducted for each incorrect response and no mark will be given for the question not answered.

Applications

Applications can be submitted Online at www.cee.kerala.gov.in by 4 p.m. on 15.11.2025.

The application fee is Rs.800/- (Rs.400/- for SC candidates). ST candidates are exempted from the payment of the application fee. The application fee can be remitted online. After remitting the required application fee, a recent photo and signature of the candidate are to be uploaded. Thereafter, all necessary certificates/documents should be uploaded by the time limit mentioned. Candidates who require additional time to obtain certificates in support of claims for reservation, fee concession, etc. may upload the relevant documents up to 20.11.2025.

After completing the uploading of all necessary certificates/documents, candidates can take a printout of the Application Acknowledgment page. A copy of the acknowledgment page has to be kept by the candidate for future reference. Before filling out the online application forms, candidates should read the prospectus for admission to the B.Pharm (Later Entry) course 2025.

Admit cards for the candidates whose applications have been accepted will be provided at www.cee.kerala.gov.in prior to the Computer Based Test. The dates of availability of the admit card will be intimated through the website of CEE in due course.

Rank List

CEE will conduct the Entrance Examination and publish the Rank list of candidates as per the provisions in clause 10 of the Prospectus for Admission to the B.Pharm (Lateral entry) course 2025 approved by the Government of Kerala.

For government pharmacy colleges, the annual tuition fee is Rs. 17370/-, the annual miscellaneous fee is Rs. 2320 /-, Caution Deposit Fee is Rs. 1740/-. The university registration fee will be as applicable.

Candidates should regularly visit the website for authentic information with regard to application/allotments/admissions and related matters. No communication will be sent by post or any other mode in connection with the B.Pharm (Lateral Entry) allotment and related matters.
