JEE Main 2026 session 2 application portal reopened by NTA

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened the Online Application Portal of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) (Main) 2026 Session-2.
NTA will conduct JEE (Main)-2026 Session-2 in Computer-Based Test (CBT) Mode from 02 April to 09 April 2026 (tentatively) in India and in a few cities outside India.
The online application process was initially open from 01 February to 25 February 2026, as per the Public Notice dated 01 February 2026.
Further, an opportunity for correction in certain particulars was also provided to the candidates for two days, during 27-28 February 2026, as per Public Notice dated 21 February 2026.
However, after the closure of the online application portal, the NTA has received multiple representations from the candidates requesting extension or reopening of the online application portal for submission of the JEE (Main) 2026 Session-2 application and payment of application fees.
In response to the requests received, NTA has decided to re-open the registration portal for JEE (Main) 2026 Session 2 for submission of the online application form from the afternoon of 12 March 2026 to 9 pm on 13 March 2026, with fee payment allowed up to 11.50 pm on 13 March 2026.
Candidates must ensure that all the information entered during the online registration process is accurate and complete. As this is a special extended period, no correction facility will be provided after submission of the application form.
Candidates must refer to the Public Notice dated 01 February 2026 regarding instructions on filling out the application form process for the JEE (Main) 2026 Session 2.
This opportunity is being provided only for candidates who were unable to submit their application forms/complete fee payment earlier. Candidates who have already successfully applied for JEE (Main) 2026 Session 2 need not register again and will not be permitted to make any changes in their submitted application forms.
