Important NIFTEE 2026 announcement: Two new cities added to examination centre list

The online registration process for the National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Examination (NIFTEE)–2026 is currently in progress, as per the Public Notice dated 08 December 2025.

In order to facilitate candidates and to enhance accessibility to examination centres, and keeping in view the convenience and benefit of aspirants, particularly from the concerned regions, it has been decided to add 2 more examination cities, in addition to 100 examination cities already being offered for NIFTEE–2026, based on the request received from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT).

The new examination cities are (i) Vapi (Gujarat) (ii) Daman [Daman & Diu (UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu)].

With the addition of the above two cities, the total number of examination cities will be 102, thereby providing wider coverage and improved convenience to candidates.

Candidates who have already submitted their application forms and selected other examination cities may opt for any of the newly added cities during the correction window, which shall open after the closure of the application submission deadline, as per the schedule to be notified separately.

Though every effort will be made to allot an examination centre in one of the cities selected by the candidate, the National Testing Agency (NTA) reserves the right to allot a centre in a city other than the candidate’s choice, depending on administrative and logistical considerations.

All other terms and conditions mentioned in the Information Bulletin and earlier Public Notices shall remain unchanged.
