IIM Kozhikode breaks into QS top 100 globally for Business & Management Studies 2026
Kozhikode: Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode has achieved a major global milestone by entering the Top 100 of the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026 for Business & Management Studies. The institute is now ranked 78th worldwide, a significant leap from 141st last year.
The QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026 evaluated 6,277 institutions globally, with 1,912 institutions ranked across 55 narrow subjects. IIM Kozhikode’s rise highlights its growing international recognition and excellence in management education.
Since 2021, the institute has shown a consistent upward trajectory:
2021: Ranked in 401–450 band
2024: Entered 151–200 band
2025: Achieved 141st rank
2026: Broke into the Top 100, at 78th position

- Academic Reputation: 67.8 (up from 63.4)
- Employer Reputation: 71.0 (up from 67.4)
- Overall Score: 71.5 (up from 68.5)
- Citations per Paper: 77.9
- H-Index: 85.4
These metrics demonstrate the institute’s academic excellence, research impact, and industry engagement, helping it rise steadily on the global stage.
