IB recruitment 2025: Last date to apply for security assistant, executive posts today
The Intelligence Bureau (IB), under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), will close the registration process for Security Assistant/Executive recruitment on Sunday, at 11:59 pm. A total of 4,987 vacancies are available, and eligible candidates can complete their applications through the official portal.

Applicants must follow these steps to register:
- Visit the official IB SA recruitment website.
- Select the "Register" option.
- Enter personal details and verify using the OTP received on the registered mobile number.
- Submit the application and ensure a copy of the completed form is downloaded or printed for future use.
Eligibility criteria for security assistant/executive 2025
- Applicants must have passed Class 10 or hold an equivalent qualification from a recognised board.
- For each Subsidiary Intelligence Bureau (SIB), candidates must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking the specified local language.
- The age limit is set between 18 and 27 years as of August 17, 2025.
Application fee
Candidates applying for the Security Assistant/Executive post must pay an application fee of ₹100, along with a processing charge of ₹550.
