Fellow Programme in Management at SP Jain Institute of Management & Research

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s SP Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR), Bhavan's Campus, Munshi Nagar, Dadabhai Road, Andheri West, Mumbai -400 058, has invited applications for admission to the Fellow Programme in Management (FPM), a full-time doctoral programme designed to create world-class researchers and faculty in various disciplines of management.
The doctoral programme in management is targeted towards individuals who have a passion for teaching and would like to solve real-life business problems through their research. The areas of research offered are (i) Finance & Economics (ii) Marketing (iii) Organization Behavior & Human Resources (iv) Strategy (v) Information Management and (vi) Operations & Supply Chain.
Eligibility: Applicant should hold a Master’s Degree / Equivalent in any discipline, with First Class or equivalent Grade Point or Five-year/four-year Integrated Master’s Degree in any discipline, with First Class or equivalent Grade Point Average. Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA and must have obtained at least 50% marks in the higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent.
Those with a professional qualification like CA, ICWA, CS, with at least 55 percent marks can also apply.
Applicant should also hold a CAT/GMAT/GRE/GATE/UGC-NET/UGC-JRF score. The Validity of these scores are as follows: (i) CAT -Taken in 2019/20/21 (ii) GMAT- Taken between 30 September 2017 – 30 September 2022 (iii) GRE, taken between 30 September 2017 – 30 September 2022 (iv) GATE taken in 2018/19/20/21/22 (v) UGC-NET Qualified (vi) UGC- JRF Qualified. Last date for submission of final entrance test scores is September 30, 2022.
However, those holding PGDM/MBA degree from one of SPJIMR, MDI, IIMs, IIT depts. of management, XLRI, IRMA, TISS, ISI, XIMB, FMS are exempted from the Aptitude/Eligibility Test Score.
Work experience of three years, relevant to their specialisation or in a related discipline is preferable. Those with significant work experience (over 10 years) are also welcome, as long as they have the motivation and background to pursue a rigorous research programme.
Applicants will sit for a Research Aptitude Test during their personal interview session at SPJIMR.
