Tough day for students as Plus One Maths exam leaves many in tears

 Kochi: Plus One Maths exam held on Thursday had left many students upset as they found the questions too tough. It is said that, many of the students writing the exam were sweating in front of the unexpected questions. The teachers also said that the question pattern was different and a bit unexpected to leave the students shaky. 

Maths exam was held for both Commerce and Science streams and the exam was more difficult for the latter. Teachers said that many students had left the exam hall in tears. They also said that, going by the feedback, the number of students who would opt for improvement would surely  go up. 

Until last year, students who failed or scored low marks were given a chance to attempt improvement exam while studying in Plus Two. However, this time, the improvement exam will be held only during next year’s Plus One exam. With the Plus Two board exams also happening around the same time, students will be overburdened with as they have to write both exams.
