CUET UG 2025: Retest option for accountancy paper announced, seeks consent by 1 PM on 23 May

In a follow-up to the Public Notice dated 19 May 2025, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that candidates who appeared for the Accountancy paper of the CUET UG 2025 between 13 and 16 May can opt to reappear for the test.

This opportunity is being given due to a revised question paper pattern.

Candidates wishing to take the re-test must give their formal consent via the link provided in the NTA Notice dated 21 May 2025, available on https://cuet.nta.nic.in, no later than 1 PM on 23 May 2025.

As per the guidelines:

• If a candidate opts for the re-test and appears, only the score from the re-test will be considered final. The earlier score will be discarded.
• If a candidate opts in but fails to appear, they will be marked ‘ABSENT’, and no score will be recorded for the Accountancy paper.
• If no consent is submitted, the original score from the exam held between 13 and 16 May will be treated as final.
• Details about the re-test date, time, and centre will be communicated in advance via the official NTA websites: https://nta.ac.in and https://cuet.nta.nic.in.
