CSIR-CCMB Hyderabad invites applications for Summer Training Programme 2026

Hyderabad: The CSIR-Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) has officially opened its doors for the Summer Training Programme 2026. This highly sought-after residency is designed to transition students from classroom theory to real-time laboratory research, providing a front-row seat to the frontiers of modern biology.
Programme highlights
Selected trainees will be embedded within a CCMB research group, working directly under a staff scientist. The programme is not just about lab work; it features:
Project execution: Every student completes a dedicated mini-research project.
Skill building: Special lectures on scientific ethics, good laboratory practices (GLP), and career opportunities.
Academic finale: Submission of a formal ‘Project Report’ and a poster presentation of findings.
Key eligibility criteria
The programme is open to Indian students from all branches of Life Sciences.
Note: Traditional 3-year BSc students are not eligible.

Application essentials

Note: CCMB does not provide on-campus accommodation. Selected candidates must arrange their own boarding and lodging in Hyderabad for the duration of the 8-week programme.
