Apprenticeship for Graduates/Diploma Holders at NITTTR Chandigarh

National Institute of Technical Teachers Training & Research (NITTTR), Sector-26, Chandigarh-160019, has invited applications from Graduates in different branches of Engineering/General streams and Diploma holders in Engineering/Technology for Apprenticeship. 

There are 12 positions. Those selected will receive stipend every month for a year which will be Rs 9,000/- per month to Graduates and Rs 8,000 per month to diploma holders. 

Eligibility: Graduates in Engineering, must hold a B.E./B.Tech degree in Engineering in one of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. Graduates in General stream, must hold a B. A/ B.Sc/ B.Com/BBA/BCA or an M.A/ M.Sc/ M.Com/MCA. 

Diploma holders, must hold a diploma in Engineering or other professional stream in one of Electronics and Communication Engineering; Computer Science and Engineering; Electrical Engineering; Mechanical Engineering or Hotel Management and Catering Technology 

All applicants should have completed their qualifying degree/diploma without any backlog within the last three years. 

Selection Criteria: Eligible candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of merit in their qualifying degree/diploma. The shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. The selection from shortlisted candidates will be based on the merit of their qualifying degree/diploma (80% weightage) and the interview (20% weightage). 

Reservation: Reservation of seats for SC/ST/OBC (Non Creamy Layer) and PWDs shall be as per the provisions of the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992. 

Application: Applications can be submitted Online latest by 7th July, 2023 by clicking the link provided in the Notification at www.nitttrchd.ac.in or by visiting www.nitttrchd.ac.in.  All the required details need to be submitted in the online form along with all the relevant documents in support of educational qualification, date of birth, Aadhaar, Bank Account in the name of Applicant and Linked to the Aadhaar etc., scanned as a single PDF file. Candidates are required to bring original documents at the time of interview.

Those who have already completed their Apprenticeship/ Internship training are not eligible to apply again.
