AIIMS Mangalagiri BSc admissions 2025: Courses, eligibility and application details inside

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Mangalagiri, Guntur Dist., Mangalagiri Andhra Pradesh, has invited applications for admission to B.Sc. in Emergency Medical Technology and B.Sc. in Hematology & Transfusion Medicine courses.

The duration of courses is 3 years + 1 year of compulsory internship.

The B.Sc. Emergency Medical Technology (EMT) course provides training that emphasizes trauma care, cardiac emergencies, airway management and transportation protocols, aligning with internationally recognized standards. This program is ideal for those aspiring to work in ambulatory care, emergency rooms, disaster response teams and paramedic services. It fosters a high level of clinical competency, critical decision-making and teamwork, ensuring that graduates are well-equipped to handle high-pressure environments. B.Sc. Hematology & Transfusion Medicine is a four-year full-time bachelor’s degree programme where students are trained in various aspects of blood banking technology and other transfusion medicine procedures. Transfusion medicine encompasses not only basic blood banking but also apheresis procedures, preparation of modified blood components, immunohematology, HLA typing and cross-matching for transplantation of organs, regenerative medicine, etc. Career and job opportunities may be in blood centers in both private and corporate hospitals. They can also pursue a postgraduate degree and further research, which may allow them to work as teachers in paramedical training institutes.

Eligibility: Applicant should be an Indian citizen and should have attained the age of 17 years on 31.12.2025. The applicant should have passed the 12th class under the 10+2 scheme/Senior School Certificate Examination or Intermediate Science or an equivalent examination from a recognized university/board of any Indian state with English, physics, chemistry, and biology and should have secured a minimum aggregate mark of 50% for Gen/OBC/EWS, 45% in the case of SC/ST categories. The applicant should have a rank in NEET UG 2025.

Applicants have to upload NEET (UG) 2025 Admit card, NEET (UG) 2025 Score card, the 10+2 qualified mark sheet, and the SC/ST/Recent OBC-Non creamy layer certificate as applicable.

Merit list will be displayed on the institute website on 20.09.2025. The selection of candidates will be based on the choice of preference in order of merit and the remaining candidates will be waitlisted. For admission scheduled to start on 22.09.2025, the candidates must bring 10th and 12th standard qualified mark sheet/certificate; Transfer certificate, Conduct certificate; Birth certificate, Category Certificate as applicable; PwBD certificate, if applicable in original for verification.

Course commences on 01.10.2025.

Stipend during the period of internship will be as per the institute rules.

Hostel May be provided on sharing basis depending on the availability.
