Opportunity for 544 apprentices in UCO bank, stipend Rs 15000

Applications are invited for apprenticeship in UCO bank, a private sector bank based in Kolkata. There are 544 vacancies in various states in various states and union territories. There are 9 vacancies in Kerala (general -7, OBC- 2). There is also a (General) vacancy in Lakshadweep. The training period is one year.

Eligibility

Graduation from a recognised University/Institution is the qualification. Applicants for any state should be able to read, write and understand the local language of the state. 10th or 12th class marksheet/certificate to prove that the language has been studied. Those who have not studied that subject will also have to face a test to prove their knowledge of this language.

Age should be 20-28 years as on July 1, 2024. Applicants born between July 2, 1996 and July 1 2004 (both dates inclusive). A relaxation of five years is available for SC/ST/OBC category candidates. There is a relaxation of 10 years (SC/ST- 15 years, OBC- 13 years) for differently-abled persons. Widows and unmarried divorcees can apply upto 35 years (SC/ST- 40 years, OBC- 38).

Stipend

A stipend of Rs 15000 will be offered. Selection will be conducted through the written test.
