Research Fellow openings in MPERC Bhopal: Electrical, IT, Finance positions available

Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (MPERC), 5th Floor, ‘Metro Plaza’, E-5 Arera Colony, Bittan Market, Bhopal-462 016, a statutory body, discharging its functions which includes determination of electricity tariff, regulate power purchase and procurement process, grant of licenses and to adjudicate upon disputes, has invited applications for recruitment of Research Fellows on consultancy basis. 

Positions and minimum qualification are as follows

(i) Research Fellow (Engineering- Electrical/Mechanical):  B.E. or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (ii) Research Fellow (Engineering-IT/CS) - B.E. or equivalent in CS/IT (iii) Research Fellow (Finance) - CA/MBA(Fin)/CWA/CFA. 

There is one position in each category, carrying a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 40,000/-

The posts mentioned above are tentative. MPERC may increase or decrease the number of posts. Selection will be as decided by the Commission based on qualification/experience etc. 

The Appointment of Research Fellow shall be on Consultancy basis and on contract basis, initially for a period of one year. However, the period of engagement may be extended as per requirement and on the discretion of the Commission. 

The Commission reserves its rights to foreclose, terminate or cancel the engagement by giving one month’s notice without assigning any reasons. In such cases, the Research Fellow shall be paid remuneration based on the work completed prior to such foreclose, termination or cancellation of the engagement as may be decided by the Commission, and the decision of the Commission shall be conclusive and binding. The remuneration so fixed and paid shall be deemed to be the final payment in such cases.
