Research Associate /JRF positions at Jadavpur University; Apply by July 13
Jadavpur University, Kolkata-700032 has notified a position each of Research Associate and Junior Research Fellow for a maximum period of 3 years.
The positions are available in a Research Project entitled ‘Syntactic and Semantic integration of Concepts in Event Construal: A Neuro-psychological Study of Serial Verb and Complex Predicate Constructions’, sponsored by Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India under Cognitive Science Research Initiative (CSRI) scheme.
The tenure of both the position is 3 years or till the termination of the project whichever is earlier.
For Research Associate position, applicant should have PhD in Engineering/ Technology/ Arts/ Science. Applicant should not be more than 35 years. It will carry a remuneration of Rs. 47,000/- pm.
For Junior Research Fellow position, applicant should have MA/M.Sc with first class. Applicant should not be more than 3o years of age. The value of the Fellowship is Rs.31000/- pm for first and second year and Rs.35000/- pm for the third year.
HRA @24% is also attached to both the positions.

Interview for selection will be held at 3 pm on 17th July, 2020 (Friday) at the Office of the Director, School of Languages and Linguistics, Jadavpur University (3rd Floor, UG Science Building, Near Gate No. 4), Jadavpur University, Kolkata-700032. Applicants may appear for the interview with application in the prescribed form along with a Demand Draft of Rs.50/- in favour of ‘The Registrar, Jadavpur University’, payable at Kolkata. Original as well as attested copies of Certificates, Mark sheets and testimonials are to be produced at the time of interview.
