ICAR CMFRI Calicut invites applications for young professional posts: Apply now
Calicut Regional Station, Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR)-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI) under the Department of Agricultural Research and Education, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Govt. of India, has notified a walk-in interview for the selection of 2 Young Professionals-I, one under SCSP and another under TSP.
Both the posts are reserved for the ST community.
Essential Qualification
Applicant should hold a Graduate Degree in Fisheries Sciences/ Aquaculture/ Marine Biology/ Zoology//Life Sciences/Environmental Science.
Desirable experience
Experience in Mariculture/Aquaculture/Fishery Biology, Working knowledge in field data collection and processing and skill in swimming.
Nature & Duration of the post
The positions are purely temporary on contract basis up to one year or co-terminus with the programme.
Age limit
Applicant should be at least 21 years of age. Upper age limit will be 45 years with relaxation as per rules.
Emoluments
Rs. 30,000/- per month consolidated as per rules.
Place of work will be at Calicut RS of ICAR-CM FRI, West Hill P.O., Calicut, Kerala -673005.

Shortlisted applicants will be intimated through mail for attending the walk-in interview to be held at the office of the Calicut Regional Station of ICAR-CMFRI, West Hill P.O., Calicut, Kerala -673005, from 10.00 hrs on 10.11.2025. Shortlisted applicants must be present 10 minutes before the scheduled time on the date of the walk-in interview along with original documents and 2 passport-size photographs.
