Eastern Railway invited applications for apprenticeship opportunities for ITI certificate holders. Training will take place in the Howrah, Sealdah, Asansol and Malda divisions, as well as workshops located in Liluah, Kanchrapara and Jamalpur. A total of 3,115 vacancies are available across various trades.

Trades: Fitter, welder (G&E), mechanic (MV), mechanic (diesel), machinist, carpenter, painter, lineman (general), wireman, refrigeration and AC mechanic, electrician , mechanic (machine tool maintenance -MMTM), mason, blacksmith and turner.

Eligibility: Candidates must have completed 10th grade with at least 50% marks and possess a National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the relevant trade (NCVT/SCVT) studied in the Plus Two system.Selection will be based on the marks obtained in Class 10 and ITI.

Age: Applicants must be aged between 15 and 24 years. Age limit will be calculated based on the last date of receipt of application.

In the upper age limit, a relaxation of five years will be given to SC and ST category, three years for the OBC (NCL) category and 10 years for differently abled category.
