CSIR-NAL announces walk-in interview for Aircraft Fuselage Jig Designers
The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research - National Aerospace Laboratories (CSIR-NAL), Bengaluru - 560 017, has announced a walk-in interview for Aircraft Fuselage Jig Designers.
CSIR-NAL desires to engage specialists on a purely temporary basis on contract for a period of six months on payment of a monthly remuneration. The duration of engagement may be extended on a need basis.
The engagement may be terminated at any time by CSIR-NAL without assigning any reasons by giving a notice of 30 days. In case the candidate desires to leave the contract, he/she must serve the notice period of one month, which can be curtailed/extended at the discretion of the Competent Authority.
Positions, vacancies, and qualifications are as follows:
Senior Specialist Jig Designer—Overall design, planning and execution: (1 position)- BE/B.Tech. in tool design/production/mechanical/engineering with a minimum of 20 years of experience in detail design of jig fixtures, GHE/GSE, ICY gauges
Specialist Jig-Detail Designer (3)—BE/B.Tech. in tool design/production/mechanical/engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience in detail design of jig fixtures, GHE/GSE, ICY gauges
Specialist internal tooling designer (1)—BE/B.Tech. in tool design/production/mechanical/engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience in detail design of internal tooling, jig fixtures, GHE/GSE,ICY gauges
The upper age limit is 65 years.

The date for determining age/qualification and experience shall be the date of the walk-in interview.
Selection Procedure: The specialists will be selected based on performance in the ‘Walk-in-Interview.’
Interested and eligible candidates should report at 9 am on 02.01.2026 (Friday) in RAB Meeting Complex, CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories, P.B.No.1779, HAL Airport Road, Kodihalli, Bengaluru -560 017 (Karnataka), along with a duly filled-in application in the prescribed proforma (appended to the Notification), and submit the same at the time of the interview.
Self-attested photocopies of all certificates in support of age, educational qualification, experience, etc., along with the original certificates, must be brought for verification at the time of the walk-in interview. Those reaching after 10 am will not be entertained.
