CSIR-NAL technician-1 recruitment 2025: 86 vacancies open; apply by July 10

Council of Scientific and Industrial Research -National Aerospace Laboratories (CSIR NAL), a premier Research Laboratory and an Autonomous Body under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, is looking for bright and highly motivated technical support staff to participate in the exciting task of Aerospace R&D, Technology Development and related applications.

Applications have been invited for the recruitment to the posts of Technician-1 on direct recruitment basis.

There are 86 vacancies of Technician-1 (UR-30, OBC-27, EWS-08, SC-15, ST-06). This includes posts identified for ESM - 08, Sports – 04 and PwBD-06 (including three backlog).

Upper Age Limit is 28 years as on 10.7.2025. Age relaxation wherever applicable will be granted as per CSIR/GoI guidelines.

The cut-off date for determining the upper age limit, qualification and/or experience shall be the closing date prescribed for submission of ONLINE application.

Selection: The Selection procedure consists of two stages, Stage-I and Stage-II. In Stage-I, the candidates as recommended/shortlisted by the duly constituted Screening Committee will be called for Trade Test. The Screening Committee will adopt its own criteria for short listing the candidates to be called for Trade Test. Individuals who qualify in the Trade test will be invited for the second stage where candidates have to appear in competitive written examination consisting of Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III.

Paper-II and Paper-III will be evaluated only for those candidates who secure minimum threshold marks (to be determined by the Selection Committee) in the Paper-I. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in Paper-II and Paper-III. Details are given in the Notification.

Application fee is Rs. 500/-, to be paid as instructed in the Notification. SC/ST/PwBD/Women/Ex-Servicemen applicants are exempted from payment of application fee.

Candidates are required to submit only one online application for each post code. Those applying for more than one post code must submit separate applications indicating the post code of the post in the application form and should make separate payment.
