Young Professionals at Competition Commission of India

The Competition Commission of India (CCI), New Delhi, established in pursuance of the Competition Act, 2002, has invited applications for engagement of Young Professionals (YPs) on contract basis, to be placed in Delhi, in the following fields: (i) Law: Young Professionals (Grade-I): 10 positions (ii) Economics: Young Professionals (Grade-I): 08 (iii) IT: Young Professionals (Grade-I): 01 (iv) Data Analysts: Young Professionals (Grade-I/II): 03

Young Professionals are initially required for a period of one year which can be further extended as per requirements. They will assist the Commission in discharge of its functions under the Competition Act, 2002 and undertake such work/tasks as may be assigned to them from time to time. 

The applicants should be dynamic and self-motivated professionals with effective analytical, communication (including technical writing) and interpersonal skills. 

Educational Qualification (Essential): (i) Law- LL. B or equivalent and qualified to be registered as an advocate in any State Bar Council in India in terms of Advocates Act, 1961 (ii) Economics- Post Graduate degree in Economics (iii) Information Technology - Bachelor of Technology /Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Computer engineering/ Computer Technology/ Electronics and Communication Or Masters’ degree in Computer Application/ Computer Science/Information Technology (iv) Data Analysts- B. Tech in Computer Science / Data Science or Master’s Degree in Computer application.

Age limit for Young Professional Grade-I is 30 years and that for Young Professional Grade-II (Only for Data Analysts) is 35 years.

Remuneration will be Rs. 60,000/- for YP I and Rs. 80,000/- for YP II. For both positions, there will be 10 percent increase on completion of each year.
