Samastha AP group to set up private university, first phase of 100 crore project to start soon

Kozhikode: The Samastha Kerala Jam-iyyathul Ulama of AP Sunnis, also known as AP Samastha, has announced a project worth ₹100 crore to establish a private university based in Kozhikode. The decision was made during a meeting of the Samastha Kerala Jam-iyyathul Ulama Mushavara.

The main educational activities related to the Samastha movement will be coordinated under the university. As part of the first phase of the ₹100 crore project to establish the university, ₹50 crore will be raised. The university will focus on history and language studies.

Other modern technical subjects will also be introduced as separate courses at the university. Additionally, the university will work on the modernization of traditional education and establish a special research department in the field of medicine. The necessary preliminary activities for establishing the university will begin immediately.
