Anna University TANCET and CEETA PG 2025: Check exam dates, application process here

Anna University Chennai - 600 025; has invited applications for Entrance Tests to be conducted by the University for admission to different Post Graduate (PG) Professional courses for 2025.

Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET 2025) is for admission to M.B.A. and M.C.A. Degree Programmes for the academic year 2025-26 offered at University Departments, Constituent Colleges of Anna University, Annamalai University, Government and Government Aided Colleges (Engineering, Arts & Science Colleges) and Self-Financing Colleges (Engineering, Arts & Science Colleges including stand-alone Institutions) in Tamil Nadu. 

Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admissions (CEETA) PG 2025; is for admission to M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan Degree Programmes for the academic year 2025-26 offered at University Departments, Constituent Colleges of Anna University, Annamalai University, Government and Aided Engineering Colleges only. Technical institutions funded by Central Government affiliated to Anna University may also join in this admission process. Self-financing Engineering Colleges may also use CEETA-PG-2025 score for their admission process.

Entrance Tests will be held as per the following schedule. TANCET M.C.A.: 22.03.2025 (FN); TANCET M.B.A.: 22.03.2025 (AN); CEETA PG 2025: 23.3.2025 (FN). 

Eligibility: (i) M.B.A.: A pass in a recognised Bachelor's Degree of minimum 3 years duration (ii) M.C.A.: A pass in a recognised Bachelor's Degree of minimum 3 years duration in B.C.A. or B.Sc. (Information Technology / Computer Science or equivalent), or a pass in a recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration (in disciplines other than the ones mentioned above) with Mathematics at 10 + 2 level or at Graduation Level (iii) M.E./ M.Tech. / M.Arch. / M.Plan: A pass in a recognised Bachelor's degree or equivalent in the relevant field.

For all Programs, applicants need at least 50% marks (45% in the case of BC, BCM, MBC, SC, SCA and ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu) in the qualifying degree examination.

Other State candidates can appear for the entrance test and the eligibility conditions will be stipulated by the admitting authority / University. 

Application can be submitted at https://tancet.annauniv.edu/tancet latest by 21.2.2025. 

Registration fee as notified has to be paid online by this time limit. 

Those appearing for the final semester/year of examination of the qualifying degree course during Academic Year 2024-25 may also apply for TANCET/CEETA-PG 2025.
