Admission in ITI under SC Development Department: Apply by October 22

Applications for admission to the Matric and Non-Matric Trades for the academic year 2020-21, in the 44 Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) under the Scheduled Caster Development Department, Government of Kerala can be submitted till 22 October 2020.

Of the total seats 80% is reserved for Scheduled Castes, 10 % for Scheduled Tribes and 10% for other categories.

Trades are available that can be selected by those who have passed/failed SSLC and those who have passed Class 8/equivalent course. They include 2 year courses, 1 year courses and one course of 6 months duration. Details are available in the Prospectus that can be downloaded from the ITI admission link at https://scdd.kerala.gov.in/

The lower age limit for the Driver cum Mechanic course is 18 years, while for the other courses, it will be 14 years.

Application form has to be downloaded from https://scdd.kerala.gov.in/. There are separate applications for Matric Trades and Non Matric trades. The downloaded application form has to be filled by the applicant. The filled application and the related documents as specified in the notification has to be scanned and submitted online at the link provided at https://scdd.kerala.gov.in/ by 5 pm on 22 October 2020 as per the instructions there.
