Women permitted to appear for NDA and NA Examination: Apply by October 8

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), in compliance with the interim direction of Supreme Court of India, permitting women to take part in the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II), 2021 has opened the online portal of application at https://upsconline.nic.in/ for this Examination to enable the unmarried women candidates only, who are otherwise eligible in terms of nationality, age, marital status, educational qualification, etc. as per the Notice for the said Examination published on 9.6.2021 and which is currently available at https://www.upsc.gov.in/, to apply for the said examination.

Physical standards and number of vacancies for women candidates would be notified in due course of time after receipt of details from Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India.

The application link will remain open for women candidates till 6 pm on 8.10.2021.

The Examination is scheduled to be held on 14.11.2021.

Women applicants are not required to pay fee for their application for this Examination.

The admission of the women in the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II), 2021 will remain provisional and will be subject to the final outcome of the WP (C). No.1416/2020 or such other order(s) as may be passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court and action by the Government of India in the matter.
