M.Tech and Ph.D admissions at IIT Goa; Apply now

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Goa has invited applications for admission to the MTech and PhD Programmes offered by the Institute for 2020.

M.Tech Programmes are offered in the Departments of Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Admissions are made in two streams, Regular M. Tech (Teaching Assistantship Category) and Sponsored/Self-Financed M. Tech (Without Assistantship).

Applicants for the regular stream should hold a Degree in Engineering with the specified marks and a valid GATE score. B.Tech degree holder from an IIT having a specified CPI will be directly eligible in this category without a GATE score.

Commissioned officers of Indian Armed Forces, Officers from Group A cadre and above of the Central Police Organizations (as determined by the Ministry of Home Affairs), those sponsored by Public Sector Undertakings (PSU) including PSU Banks, Sponsored Private Employees and Self-Financed candidates with relevant Engineering degrees at the previous level of education and satisfying the required conditions are eligible in the second category.

Applications can be submitted through this site, latest by 1 June 2020.

Applications have also been invited for admission to the Regular or Full Time and Part-time Ph.D Programmes in the Schools of Chemical & Biological Sciences, Electrical Sciences, Humanities & Social Sciences, Mathematics & Computer Sciences, Mechanical Sciences and Physical Sciences.
