Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Kochi -682 022, has invited applications for PhD positions available in various Departments under MHRD-DRDO Fellowship scheme.

Collaborating Departments, the number of Research Topics identified jointly by CUSAT and NPOL and essential qualification are as follows:

Oceanography (3 research topics): M.Sc. Oceanography/ M.Tech. Ocean Technology with First class.

Electronics (1 Research Topic): M.E./M.Tech in ECE with specialization in Communication Systems/Signal Processing/ Microwave Electronics/Wireless Communications with First class.

International School of Photonics (1 Research Topic): M.Sc. Photonics/Physics or M. Tech. In Optoelectronics/Photonics/Laser Technology/Applied Optics/Optical Communication with First class.

Atmospheric Sciences (1 Research Topic): Postgraduate degree in Meteorology/ Oceanography/ Atmospheric Sciences/Ocean Sciences/Remote Sensing/Physical Oceanography and Ocean Modelling with First class. Very good knowledge of Python Programming

Polymer Science and Rubber Technology (2 Research Topics): Post Graduation in Polymer Science/ Chemistry / Material Science or Polymer Technology or Chemical Engineering with First class.
