Third phase stray vacancy allotment for Ayush, Medical allied seats; Here’s what you need to know

Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala has opened the facility to register new options for the Third Phase Stray Vacancy filling allotment to fill the Vacancies in Ayurveda/Homeo/Sidha/Unani and Medical Allied Courses that have arisen in various Government/Self Financing Colleges after the second phase stray allotment.
Candidates who are included in the Kerala State Medical Rank List published by the CEE can register fresh options till 11.59 PM on 04.12.2024.
To register options through www.cee.kerala.gov.in, candidates should click the menu ‘Stray Vacancy Option Registration’ available in the Home page. Since the vacancies that may arise during the course of stray vacancy filling allotment have to be filled, candidates should give options to all colleges and courses in which they wish to study for the course. Candidates should give options only to the courses and colleges where they wish to study, if they get an allotment. Un-allotted category seats still existing will be converted during this phase as per existing prospectus conditions.
Registration fee
Those candidates who wish to register options in Third Round Stray Vacancy Filling Allotment will have to pay a registration fees to the CEE. The registration fee can be paid online or through Head Post Office to the CEE before registering options. The list of Head Post Offices is given in the website.
Those who want to register options to Ayurveda/Homoeo/Sidha/Unani and Medical Allied Courses or Ayurveda/ Homoeo/Sidha/Unani courses have to pay an amount of Rs. 10,000/- as Registration fee. Those coming under SC/ST/OEC/other categories specified in the Notification should pay Rs. 500/- as Registration fee. The registration fee of those candidates who get an allotment through Stray Vacancy filling will be carried over to Tuition Fee and the registration fee of those candidates who do not get any allotment will be refunded. The registration fee of those candidates who do not join the seat within the stipulated time will be considered as penalty and will not be refunded. Such students will also be penalized as per KEAM Prospectus clause 12.2.4. The registration fee of those candidates who quit seats after taking admission through stray vacancy filling will be considered as penalty and will not be refunded. Such students will also be penalized as per KEAM Prospectus clause 12.2.4.
Candidates who have submitted online application for Ayush courses to CEE as per notification dated 29.11.2024 or as per earlier notifications can also register options. However only those eligible candidates who are included in the revised Kerala State Merit List will be considered for allotment.
Guidelines
Those who got allotment or joined the allotted seat in the third round/first phase stray vacancy allotment/second phase stray vacancy allotment are not eligible for participating in the third phase stray vacancy allotment. Those who are still continuing in admitted status consequent on previous allotments (Phase I, phase II, Phase III, First Round Stray Vacancy Allotment & Second Round Stray Vacancy Allotment) are not eligible for participating in Third Stray Vacancy Filling Allotment. The ineligible candidates as per the list issued by AACCC dated 29.11.2024 will not be considered for the third stray round allotment in the State.
The seat received through stray vacancy allotment cannot be changed further at any instance.
Fees
The details of fee for the Ayurveda / Homoeopathy /Siddha /Unani and Medical Allied courses, in various colleges is available in the website. Candidates allotted under SC/ST/OEC/other categories mentioned in the Notification need not pay fee at the time of admission. However, if such candidates are allotted under Management quota seats in Self-Financing Ayush colleges, they will have to remit the fee as shown in the allotment memo and they will not be eligible for any fee concession.
Provisional Allotment will be published on 05.12.2024 and the final allotment on 06.12.2024.
Those getting allotment should join the college concerned after paying the fees/balance fee (if applicable) as shown in the allotment memo, during 07.12.2024 and 4 pm on 09.12.2024.
Vacancies, if any, existing in Ayurveda/Homoeo/Sidha/Unani and Medical Allied Courses after this stray vacancy filling will be filled through fourth phase stray vacancy filling. Those candidates who do not join after getting an allotment through this allotment and those who quit the seats after joining the college will not be considered for fourth phase stray vacancy filling.
