Diploma in Packaging in correspondence mode at Indian Institute of Packaging

Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP), an autonomous body in the field of packaging and working under the administrative control of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, has invited applications for admission to the Diploma in Packaging Program being conducted in correspondence Mode. The course is of one and half year (18 months) duration. The programme is accredited by Asian packaging federation.

The Correspondence Course is designed to develop packaging persons who can find opportunities in marketing, purchase, design and development, quality assurance and package processing of any industrial unit, be it a package manufacturer or a package user Candidates registered for the Course would be given course material for reading in advance. Examination will be conducted at the end of 18 months. A student also has to submit an essay on a prescribed topic before the examination. The examination would be conducted at Indian Institute of Packaging (E-2, MIDC Area, Post Box No. 9432, Andheri (E), Mumbai 400 093) and regional centres at Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad.

Eligibility: Graduate in Science, Engineering, Technology, Commerce and Arts from UGC recognized University / Diploma from recognized technical board in Engineering / Technology are eligible for the course. Applicants should have minimum one-year Industrial Experience in the operational areas like Production, Purchase, Marketing, Quality Control etc. There is no age limit.

Registration / Admission: Application form and prospectus can be downloaded from https://iip-in.com/. They can also be obtained from any centre of Indian institute of packaging by paying Rs. 250/- only by DD in favour of ‘Indian institute of Packaging’ payable at Mumbai.

The filled application forms should be sent to Indian institute of packaging, Mumbai, along with the demand draft to reach latest by 30.11.2021. Fee can be paid in 2 instalments as specified in the Prospectus.

The courses will commence on 1st January, 2022. Project has to be submitted by 31st December 2022. Orientation programme will be in January, 2023 and the final examinations in June, 2023.
