Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination 2024 on May 11
National Testing Agency (NTA) has invited applications for the National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination (NCHM JEE-2024) for admission to the B.Sc. (Hospitality & Hotel Administration) Course at the Institutes of Hotel Management (IHM) affiliated to the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHM & CT) for the academic year 2024-25.
The list of Affiliated Institutes of Hotel Management conducting the Program in 2024 with intake is given in the Information Bulletin that can be downloaded from https://exams.nta.ac.in/NCHM/ (Information link). There are a total of 78 institutions with a total intake of 11995 seats.
Examination date and pattern: NCHMJEE will be held from 9 am to 12 pm on 11th May, 2024 (Saturday) as a Computer Based Test (CBT). It will have 200 Multiple Choice Questions from Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude (30 questions), Reasoning and Logical Deduction (30), General Knowledge & Current Affairs (30), English Language (60), Aptitude for Service Sector (50). Each question carries 4 marks. For each incorrect response, 1 mark will be deducted from the total score. Applicants will be required to select four cities of their choice while filling Online Application Form for NCHM JEE 2024.
Eligibility: Applicant should have passed 10+2 system of Senior Secondary Examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects, from a recognized Educational Board. Candidate must have passed English as a subject of study (core/elective/functional) in the qualifying examination. Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can also appear in NCHM JEE 2024 subject to submission of proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) at the time of counselling or at the time of admission or latest by 30.09.2024.
Age Limit: There is no age restriction for appearing in NCHM JEE.
Physical Fitness: All qualified candidates will have to submit a physical fitness certificate of carrying out practical claims as required in course at the time of admission from a Registered Medical Practitioner in the prescribed format.
Application: Application can be submitted Online at https://exams.nta.ac.in/NCHM/ latest by 5 pm on 31.03.2024 (through the link ‘Candidate’s activity’).
Application fee is Rs. 1,000/- (Rs.700/- for Gen-EWS; Rs. 450/- for SC/ST/PwD and Third Gender). Application fee can be paid online latest by 11.50 pm on 31.03.2024 through payment gateway, using debit/credit cards or internet banking.
Correction in the Particulars of Application Form can be done online during 02.04.2024 to 05.04.2024.
The Notifications related to (i) availability of Admit Card for Downloading by the Candidate from NTA Website (ii) Display of Recorded Responses and Provisional Answer Keys on the Website for inviting challenge(s) from applicants (iii) Declaration of Result will made available at the Website https://exams.nta.ac.in/NCHM/
After the declaration of the Result, the NCHM JEE-2024 Score will be provided by NTA to NCHMCT to conduct the Counselling for the admission to the B.Sc. (HHA) Course.
