Diploma courses at State Institute of Hospitality Management Kozhikode
State Institute of Hospitality Management (SIHM), Department of Tourism, Government of Kerala; Varakkal Beach,West Hill , Kozhikode, affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT), Noida; has invited applications for admissions to Diploma and Post Graduate Diploma Courses at the institute.
Diploma Courses are of 1 1⁄2 year duration with 1 year of study in the Institution and 6- month training in the relevant department of Hospitality industry. Diploma courses are offered in (i) Food Production (ii) Food and Beverage Service (iii) Bakery and confectionery (iv) Front Office Operations (v) Housekeeping operations.
Post Graduate Diploma in Accommodation operation & Management will be of 1 1⁄2 year duration with 1 year of study in the Institution and 6- month training in Hospitality industry.
Eligibility: (a) Diploma Course: Pass in 10+ 2 system of Senior Secondary Examination or its equivalent from a recognized Board/Institution with English as one of the subjects (b) Post Graduate Diploma: Degree in any subject.

Applicants should fill the form, affix photo, sign and scan the form (4 pages). Self-attested Copy of the 12th Standard Mark sheet, Copy of the Medical Certificate signed by the Medical practitioner (certificate format is given as part of the Notification), Self-attested copy of Transfer Certificate, Copy of Aadhar card etc; should be attached. Applicants are required to pay the application fee online (Rs 200/ for SC and ST categories and Rs 400 for other categories) through NEFT to the account as per the details given in the Notification and attach the payment slip with the filled application form.
