Diploma and Continuing Education Programmes at NIFT Chennai
National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Chennai has invited applications for admission to various Diploma Programme and Continuing Education Programmes for 2023-24.
Programmes and eligibility for admission are as follows:
UG Diploma: (i) Jewellery Design- 12th Pass or equivalent (ii) Surface Embellishments for knits- Plus 2 or Degree (iii) Fashion Fit and Style- 12th Pass/equivalent.
PG Diploma: (i) Indian Craft Appreciation- Graduation Degree / A full time diploma after 10+2 from a reputed institute (ii) Fashion Retail Store Operations- Graduation Degree / Fulltime Diploma after 10+2 with 2 -3 years of experience (iii) Fashion Entrepreneurship- Graduate Degree / Full time Diploma after 10+2. Candidates with 2-3 years of experience will be given preference (iv) Omnichannel Retailing and ecommerce Management- Graduate Degree / Full time Diploma after 10+2. Candidates with 2-3 years of experience will be given preference (v) Apparel Production & Merchandising- UG Degree. Candidates with 2-3 years of work experience will be given preference (vi) Fashion Innovation & Sustainable Design for Circularity- Under Graduate Degree or Diploma.
Continuing Education Programmes: (i) Fashion Knitwear & Production Technology-10+2 (ii) Design Development for Indian Ethnic Wear - 10+2 /10+2 with experience /10+ 2-year Diploma
