CEED and UCEED 2024 on January 21, 2024
Applications have been invited for the Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED) conducted by IIT Bombay, for admission to Master of Design (MDes) programmes at IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Jodhpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Roorkee, IIITDM Jabalpur and PhD programmes at several IITs and design schools.

Eligibility for CEED: Applicant must have completed a degree/diploma/post graduate degree programme of minimum 3 years’ duration, after 10+2 level, or must be appearing for the final examination of such a program by July 2024, or must have passed the GD Arts diploma programme (10+5 level) by July 2024.
There is no age limit to appear for CEED. One can appear for CEED any number of times.
Applications have also been invited for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) for admissions to the Bachelor of Design (BDes) programmes at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, and IIITDM Jabalpur and many institutes using the UCEED Score Card for admissions to their BDes program. The list of result sharing institutes using UCEED scores for admissions to their BDes program is available at https://www.uceed.iitb.ac.in/2024/
Eligibility for UCEED: Applicant should have been born on or after October 1, 1999 (on or after October 1, 1994, if belonging to the SC, ST or PwD category). One can attempt UCEED a maximum of two times in consecutive years. Applicant should have passed all subjects in the qualifying examination (Class XII or equivalent) in 2023 or should be appearing for the qualifying examination for the first time in 2024. Students from all streams (Science, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities) are eligible.
CEED 2024/UCEED 2024 will be conducted on January 21, 2024 Sunday, from 9 am - 12 noon. The detailed structure of each test is given in the Information Brochure. UCEED/CEED 2024 score is valid for one year from the date of declaration of the result.
Application: Application for CEED/UCEED can be submitted online at the respective websites by November 13, 2023.
Registration fees: Registration fee is Rs. 1900/- for women and SC/ST/PwD candidates. It is Rs. 3800/- for all other candidates. The registration fee has to be paid online.
Online registration with an additional late fee of Rs. 500/- irrespective of category, can be done from November 14 to November 20, 2023.
