Aligarh Muslim University opens admissions for 2026-27 UG , PG programmes

Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh, has invited applications for admission to various Programmes offered by the University for 2026-27.

For the undergraduate programs, admissions are offered through different channels.

The channels and courses are as follows.

CUET UG 2026 Channel: B.Sc. (Hons.) Community Science; Geography, Statistics; B.A. (Hons.): Hindi, Linguistics, Persian, Philosophy, Sanskrit, Chinese, Russian, International Studies; Education, Women Studies; B.Voc. - Polymer and Coating Technology; Fashion Design & Garment Technology.

NEET UG 2026: M.B.B.S. (Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College); B.D.S. (Dr. Ziauddin Ahmad Dental College); Bachelor of Physiotherapy; Kamil-e-Tib-o-Jarahat (B.U.M.S.); Pre-Tib (leading to B.U.M.S.).

NCET 2026: B.A. B.Ed.; B.Sc. B.Ed.

Admission Test 0f AMU: B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture; Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Geology, Industrial Chemistry, Computer Science and Applications; Biochemistry, Botany, Zoology; B.A. (Hons.): Arabic, Communicative English, English, Quranic Studies, Urdu; Economics, Geography, History, Islamic Studies, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology; French, German, Spanish; B. Com. (Hons.), Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.), Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.); Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch.); Bachelor of Engineering (For Diploma holders): B.A.LL.B.; B.Sc. Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree in Allied & Healthcare: Optometry, Anaesthesia & Operation Theatre Technology, Dialysis Therapy Technology, Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology, Emergency Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Science, Radiation Therapy Technology.

Departmental Test: Bachelor of Visual Arts (B.V.A.); B.A. (Hons.) Shia Theology; B.A. (Hons.) Sunni Theology

For CUET UG and NCET UG Channels, applicants have to register at the respective websites of CUET UG and NCET and also register at the AMU website, www.amucontrollerexams.com. The allotment of seats will be done by AMU based on the merit of CUET UG/NCET as applicable.

For NEET UG based admissions applicants have to register for NEET UG 2026 and appear for the examination. For MBBS/BDS Programmes allotments are usually done by MCC ad for BUMS, by AACCC.

Aligarh Muslim University has also notified admission to Masters/Post Graduate Programmes, Research Programmes, Diploma Programmes etc.
