Admissions to Professional Degree courses in Kerala 2024: Apply by April 17

The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala has invited applications for admission to the Professional Degree Courses in Kerala for 2024-25.
Courses: (a) Medical: (i) MBBS (ii) BDS (iii) BHMS (Homoeo) (iv) BAMS (Ayurveda) (v) BSMS (Siddha) (vi) BUMS (Unani) (b) Medical Allied - (i) BSc. (Hons.) Agriculture (ii) BSc. (Hons.) Forestry (iii) BSc. (Hons.) Co-operation & Banking (iv) BSc. (Hons.) Climate Change Environmental Science (v) B.Tech (Bio-Technology) (under K.A.U) (vi) Veterinary (BVSc. & AH) (vii) Fisheries (BFSc.) (c) B. Tech. (d) B. Pharm. (e) B.Arch.
All those seeking admission to any of these courses must apply as per this notification irrespective of whether the CEE is conducting entrance examination or not.
For Admission to Medical & Medical Allied courses, applicants should appear and qualify in National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024, conducted by NTA as admissions to these courses will be based on the rank/mark in NEET UG 2024.
Those seeking admission to B.Arch. course should appear and qualify in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture on or before 31.7.2024. Architecture Rank list will be prepared by giving equal weightage to marks in NATA 2024 and marks in qualifying examination.
CEE will conduct Entrance Examination for admission to Engineering/Pharmacy Courses only, as a Computer Based Test in multiple sessions from June 1, 2024 to June 9, 2024. Morning session will be from 9 am to 12 noon and the afternoon session from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm. The schedule is given in the Prospectus and Notification at www.cee.kerala.gov.in
The Engineering Entrance Examination will have one paper having 150 questions from Mathematics (75 questions), Physics (45) and Chemistry (30). Pharmacy Entrance Examination will have 45 questions from Physics and 30 questions from Chemistry. These questions will be the same as the questions in Physics and Chemistry of the Engineering Entrance examination. All questions will be of the Objective type, Multiple choice. Each correct answer will fetch 4 marks while each incorrect answer will result in the loss of 1 mark. Since the examinations are being held in multiple sessions, the score of candidates will be Normalized as per the provisions in the Prospectus.
Engineering rank is prepared by giving equal weightage (50:50) to the Normalized score in the Entrance Examination and the marks obtained in the final year of the qualifying examination for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together, after effecting the standardization procedure as described in Prospectus at www.cee.kerala.gov.in/
B.Pharm Rank list will be prepared, on the basis of Index mark calculated from the score obtained for Physics and Chemistry as described in the Prospectus. Details of the Examination, syllabus, rank list preparation etc; are given in the Prospectus.
Age: Applicants should complete 17 years of age as on 31.12.2024. There is no upper age limit for Engineering, Architecture, B.Pharm, BAMS, BSMS, BHMS and BUMS Courses. For MBBS & BDS courses, upper age limit will be as per the Information Bulletin of NEET (UG)-2024. For other Medical Allied Courses, the age prescribed by the respective central councils will be applicable.
The detailed eligibility conditions such as Nationality, Nativity, Academic (including mark requirements and relaxation in marks for reserved categories) etc; are given in the Prospectus.
Application: Applications can be submitted online at www.cee.kerala.gov.in latest by 5 pm on 17.4.2024. Certain documents are to be uploaded and application fee paid by this time limit. Other required certificates / documents should be uploaded by 5 pm on 24.4.2024. Applicants can choose one or more of the 4 streams of courses available- Engineering, B.Pharm, Architecture and Medical & Medical Allied in a single application. Those applying for the Engineering stream and desirous of admission to B.Pharm course must choose B.Pharm course also also in the application.
