Vadanappally (Kerala): Embarking on an extraordinary solo overland expedition, Muhammad Naseeb, a native of Vadanappally, has successfully ridden his motorcycle all the way from the UAE to his hometown in Kerala. Setting off from Dubai on May 3, his journey culminated with his arrival in Kerala on July 12, a remarkable voyage dedicated to experiencing diverse cultures and terrains firsthand. Naseeb completed this epic feat astride a Yamaha Niken GT.

His route spanned over 12 countries, taking him through Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Iraq, Turkey, Georgia, Russia, Kazakhstan, China and Nepal before he finally rolled into his family home in Vadanappally. Though he faced major hurdles along the way, particularly with border-crossing permits and complex visa processes, Naseeb shared that the sheer triumph of the journey made every challenge worthwhile.

A resident of Farook Nagar in Vadanappally of Thrissur district, Naseeb has been working as an interior designer in Dubai for the past six years. Driven by a passion for adventure travel, his first major motorcycle expedition was in 2019, when he rode across India, Nepal and Bhutan. He credits the unwavering support of his family and friends as the driving force behind his travels.

Naseeb believes that meticulous planning is the key to a successful overland journey. Looking ahead, his next dream is to undertake a road trip across Europe. He is supported by his wife Jimshitha and their two children Ahmed Afras and Muhab Murad.

Upon his arrival home, Naseeb was honoured with a warm civic reception in Vadanappally, where the audience applauded enthusiastically as he shared his incredible travel tales.
