The Nadakkav model of schooling

Century-old Government Vocational Higher Secondary School for Girls (GVHSS) at Nadakkav in Kozhikode has rose to international standards and became a model to other government schools in India. The makeover was through a program called PRISM (Promoting Regional Schools to International Standards through Multiple Interventions). Finally, it was ranked among the top three government schools in India. It opened access to world class education for the children of common people.
