Dubai to open tourism sector for international visitors from July 7
Dubai: Further easing the coronavirus lockdown, Dubai tourism industry here will be conditionally opened for foreign visitors from July 7. It had allowed its citizens and residents to travel abroad from June 23.
Those arriving at the airports should have a COVID negative certificate or should undergo COVID tests at the airport upon arrival.
"The new announcement will allow thousands of people affected by the worldwide restrictions in passenger air traffic since the start of the pandemic to resume their travel plans," the Dubai media office said in the statement.
The announcement comes more than two months since the United Arab Emirates introduced strict measures to curb the spread of the new coronavirus.
