Dubai: Tourists are flocking to the World’s first Quranic Park setup in Al Khawaneej. Since the opening of the park in April, more than 10 lakh visitors have arrive here, said Dubai Municipality.
The Quranic Park was opened as per the instruction of UAE rulers in connection with the observation of Tolerance Year.

Dawoud Al Hajri, director general of Dubai Municipality, said the park is one of the best ventures of the municipality.

The various fruits and vegetables mentioned in the Quran can be seen in the park in twelve unique gardens. 51 types of plants including plantain, olive and pomegranate can be seen here. This is one of the most attractive feature in the park.

The caves carved out on rocks blending the modern techniques with ancient art is another major attraction here.
The Quranic Park was built in three phases in a 64-hectare land in Al Khawaneej. The entry to the park is free.
