The Covid-19 pandemic has put almost everyone in crisis. However, the most hit were the globetrotters being stuck at home. However, with unlock 5 phase in action, many of the tourist spots have reopened.
Here are some of the tourist destinations in India, you can travel now. Adhering to Covid protocol is recommended everywhere while travelling.
One of the most sought after tourist destinations in India, Goa has opened its door to travellers. No Covid negative certificate or test or quarantine is instructed for those arriving here.
The scenic mountain town has no restrictions on travelers due to Covid pandemic.
The state doesn’t demand Covid-19 negative certificate to enter. However, travellers are required to register themselves in the government website.
The union territory also has not imposed any restrictions on travellers. No quarantine is instructed upon arrival. However, anyone displaying symptoms or testing positive for Covid-19 is requested to report at government hospitals.
Anyone entering the state will be subjected to a rapid antigen test. Covid negative or those without symptoms are allowed to travel inside and stay in the state.
Those visiting Gujarat will be screened with thermal scanners. No quarantine is instructed for those without symptoms.
No restriction, including quarantine, has been imposed on domestic travellers
Anyone travelling to Ladakh can avoid being quarantined, if the visiting time is less than 5 days, by providing a negative RTPCR test result issued within 96 hours.
Though tourism is open, it is highly recommended to avoid unnecessary travelling to avoid contracting the virus. If going on a trip, installing the Aarogya Setu app on mobile phones is suggested.
