Mother-daughter duo travel from Kannur to Kashmir on Bullet
Payyanur: A mother and daughter from Payyanur are keen to enjoy life by travelling on Bullet. Passion for adventurous journeys prompted Anisha and her daughter Madhurima to kick off the road trip which ended in Kashmir.
It was on July 14 they started the journey from Payyanur to Kashmir. Within two weeks, they visited the major tourist spots in various states and then reached Ladakh on Thursday. They returned to Kerala by Saturday morning.
Anisha came up with the idea of a Kashmir trip after getting bored at home due to lockdown and her daughter also agreed to join. But they put off the long trip as lockdown restrictions were prevailing in most of the states and they went to Mysuru.
This month, the mother and daughter duo went ahead with the Kashmir trip by covering a distance of 300 to 500 kilometers each day. They rode the Bullet and visited places during daytime and stayed in hotels during nights. Both were curious to visit the heritage sites in the states where they reach.
Anisha is a teacher in Kanayi North UP school and her daughter Madhurima is a degree student at Payyanur college. Both of them have the full support of the family too.
