Kadambrayar tourism gets facelift with a suspension bridge
Kizhakkambalam: The much awaited Kadabrayar village tourism project is all set for a revival with Kadakampally Surendran, minister for tourism, inaugurating the suspension bridge at Pallikkara in Manakkakkadavu. The hanging bridge was constructed with Rs 2.5 crore.
Government is aiming at attracting more number of tourists which had fell very low in the past years. The renovated ecotourism project extends from Manakkakkadavu to Pulikkakkadavu.
Visitors have already started to flow in after coracle rafting (kuttavanchi) and pedal boating was introduced here the other day. More number of boats and coracles have been brought here. Facility has been arranged for around 40 people to go for boating simultaneously.
The Kadambrayar ecotourism project in Kizhakkambalam panchayat was opened to public in 2009.
