Munnar: KSRTC (Kerala State Road Transport Corporation) has started bus service from Munnar to Bodimettu for passengers travelling to Tamil Nadu.
The bus will start journey from Munnar at 10 am, 3 pm and 6 pm. The return trips from Bodimettu are scheduled at 12 pm, 3 pm and 7 pm.
Bus services to Bodi and Theni in Tamil Nadu were stopped for 10 months as part of COVID restrictions. The plantation workers and others were spending huge amount to hire taxis to travel to these places.
The KSRTC authorities said that more bus services will be launched as the number of passengers to Bodimettu increases in the coming days. Bus service was started till Chinnar for the passengers to Udumalpet a week ago.
